Get a Life Insurance Quote | No-Pressure Texas Broker
You came here to get a real life insurance quote — not a teaser rate that doubles after underwriting. This page explains exactly what happens next, what we’ll ask for, and why we don’t show an instant online price.
How a quote actually works
An accurate life insurance quote depends on five things: your age, health class (preferred plus through standard or rated), tobacco use (including occasional cigars and nicotine replacement), coverage amount, and policy type (term length, whole life, indexed universal life, or a hybrid living-benefits product). Some instant-quote tools use optimistic or default health-class assumptions that may change after underwriting. We instead provide a preliminary range using the information disclosed, while the carrier controls the final class, price, approval, and timing.
What we’ll ask you for
- Date of birth, height/weight, ZIP code
- Tobacco/nicotine history (past 5 years)
- Major health conditions and medications
- High-risk hobbies or occupations (aviation, diving, etc.)
- Driving record — DUIs and reckless violations affect rating
- Bankruptcy in the last 24 months (some carriers postpone)
- Desired death benefit and the term length or product type you have in mind
Our process
- Intake call (15 minutes) — we confirm the answers above and discuss your needs analysis (income replacement, mortgage payoff, business buy-sell, estate liquidity).
- Carrier shopping — we compare your profile across our current panel of 17 carriers and present the strongest available options with actual premiums, not marketing rates.
- Application & underwriting — we submit, schedule any required exam (often waived under accelerated underwriting), and stay in front of the file until approval.
- Policy delivery — we deliver the contract, review it line-by-line, and confirm the free-look period.

What it costs you
Nothing. Independent brokers are compensated by the issuing insurance carrier when a policy is placed. The premium you pay is the same whether you buy through us or directly from the carrier — but you get carrier choice, underwriting advocacy, and no captive-agent product bias.

Important: this is a request for a quote, not a binding offer of coverage. Issuance and final premium are subject to underwriting by the carrier you select.
